Welcome to the Committee Newsletter.

Welcome back to the 5th term. Hopefully summer is at last on its way and we can look forward to lots of sunshine.

Hilltop Pre- school has recently had notice boards erected in the hall way. We hope you find these useful, they are for your use as well as pre-schools. If you would like to advertise any forthcoming events or items for sale please see a member of staff to get your notice displayed.

Thank you for all your continued support we look forward to another busy term.

Quiz Night Success.

You were smart enough! Thank you to every one who supported the night. We had a fantastic evening and raised £240. Due to the great success we hope to have another night in Early October - so keep your eyes peeled for the details.

Fete - Saturday 20th May 2006.

Any offers of help would be gratefully received.

Cake Stall - this was a huge success last year we hope it will be the same this year. Please bring donations of homemade/brought cakes to Pre-School on Friday 19th May or Saturday Morning. The cakes are always fantastic and we thank you in anticipation!

We hope to see you there - 12-3 p.m.

Raffle Tickets.

We have given you some tickets to try and sell. £1/ book. If you require any more, please see pre-school staff. Please return any unsold books to pre-school.

The Pre-Schools try to keep maintenance cost to a minimum. This ensures we can spend as much as possible on toys and equipment for the children to enjoy.

If you have any skills you feel you can offer please let Rose or Carole know.

Committee Changes.

Due to a number of people standing down from the committee there may be spaces that need filling. If you feel you would like to become more involved in the management of Pre-School please see Rose or Carole.

September.

Portishead Playgroups runs two pre-schools Brampton and Hilltop. Your child can attend both Pre-schools to gain access to their entitlement of 5 funded sessions/week. If one of the pre-schools cannot offer the sessions you would like it may be worth visiting the other pre-school.

Remember you can have up to five 2½ hour sessions funded from the term after your child's 3rd birthday.
