1. Welcome.
  • Sally welcomed everyone to the meeting.
  
 

2. Agree and sign minutes from last meeting.
  • These were signed and agreed.
  
 

3. Matters arising from last meeting.
  • Burglar Alarm: This is now functioning correctly.
  
  • Staff Appraisals: Sally is negotiating dates with Rose and Carole.
  
  • IKEA: Written to say that they are not interested.
  
 

4. Chair's Report.

  • Quiz Night: Everything prepared and ready to go.

  

  • T-Shirts: Now in stock and selling well. 

 

  • St. Barnabus: We have today received a Room Letting application form, various discrepancies not happy with to be readdressed with St Barnabas. Sally also in discussion with Tracy Wells from Early Years Education to put together a Business plan.

    Sally will also start to complete the OFSTED required paperwork DC1, in preparation if required. Committee to talk to other pre-schools who operate out of school premises to see the hire/lease agreement they have for comparison.

  

  • Sally Melson: Sally is coming off the committee in November after five years as has been promoted at work, trying to find another Chairperson. Julie Kirk is also coming off. Replacements need to have children in playgroup.

  
 

5. Treasurer's Report.

  • Fundraising: Yellow moon £32 (new books to be distributed).

  

  • Invitation Book: Around £140 made from Brampton and £120 from Hilltop which is excellent.

 

  • Invested £10,000 into a 12 month fixed charity bond, more interest to be earned.

8. Hilltop Report.

  • 3 May 2007 closed due to polling day, opening 5 April instead and thank you to all that are working that day, hall hire and funding advised.
